The World of Statistics, the successor to the highly successful and world-popular International Year of Statistics debuts its new website today.
The World of Statistics, is the progeny of the International Year of Statistics. It was devised by the Steering Committee of the International Year of Statistics campaign, who agreed that the statistical profession would benefit from an ongoing campaign.
The World of Statistics campaign aims to increasing public awareness of the power and impact of statistics on all aspects of society, to nurture statistics as a profession, especially among young people; and to promote creativity and development in the sciences of probability and statistics.
