The nQuery Sample Size Software team recently made the trip from our Irish HQ to Denver, Colorado for JSM 2019.
The Joint Statistical Meetings is the largest gathering of statisticians and data scientists held in North America and features various topics ranging from statistical applications to methodology and theory to the expanding boundaries of statistics, such as analytics and data science. More than 6,500 attendees from 52 countries usually attend. It also offers a unique opportunity for statisticians in academia, industry, and government to exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration.
The nQuery booth was busy as always and the team were delighted to meet both long term and new nQuery users alike. We took this chance to get direct feedback on some great new features we plan to release in the near future and also to discuss how nQuery can further help our users with sample size and power analysis for frequentist, Bayesian and adaptive trial planning.
We also hosted a mixer on the Monday night. We would like to thank all those who attended and we hope you had a great time. nQuery Lead Researcher & Head of Statistics - Ronan Fitzpatrick - hosted the nQuery Mixer.
Apart from some great food and beverages we also had some giveaways with a top prize of a $500 amazon gift card.
